By car

If approaching the city of Munich from Nürnberg, take the A9 direct into Munich. The autobahn terminates in München-Schwabing. From there, continue along Schenkendorfstraße, Leopoldstraße to Odeonsplatz. At Odeonsplatz turn right onto Briennerstraße. After about 300 metres turn left onto Maximilianplatz and continue to Lenbachplatz where you bear right onto Elisenstraße.

From Salzburg take the A8 in the direction of Munich. The autobahn ends at München-Ramersdorf. From here, continue along Rosenheimerstraße, Zweibrückenstraße to Isartorplatz, where you turn right onto Thomas-Wimmer-Ring, (crossing Karl-Scharnagl-Ring and Franz-Joseph-Strauss-Ring).Turn left into the tunnel, leaving the Von der Tann-Straße. Emerging from the tunnel, turn left onto Oskar-von-Miller-Ring, cross Maximilianplatz and continue to Lenbachplatz where you bear right onto Elisenstraße.

The A8 Autobahn from Stuttgart ends in a roundabout (München-West). Take the Verdistraße exit, then continue along Amalienburgstraße, Menzingerstraße, Notburgastraße, Romanstraße and then left onto Arnulfstraße. From Arnulfstraße turn left onto Luisenstraße, then right onto Elisenstraße.

If approaching Munich from Passau on the A94, bear right where the road forks at the end of the Autobahn and follow Prinzregentenstraße which leads onto Von-der-Tann-Straße and into the tunnel. Emerging from the tunnel, turn left onto Oskar-von-Miller-Ring. Traverse Maximilianplatz and contineu to Lenbachplatz, where you bear right onto Elisenstraße.

If approaching Munich from Lindau on the A96, continue through the Garmischerstraße tunnel onto the Donnersbergerbrücke (bridge). After the bridge, turn right onto Arnulfstraße, then left onto Luisenstraße and right onto Elisenstraße.

The Autobahn from Garmisch-Partenkirchen (A95) ends at Luise-Kieselbach-Platz. Keeping left, proceed through the GarmischersStr. tunnel which brings you onto the Donnersbergerbrücke (bridge). After the bridge, turn right onto Arnulfstraße, from where you turn left onto Luisenstraße and then right onto Elisenstraße.

Public transport

Underground/Subway
Take the U1 or U2 to Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Diagonally opposite the main entrance to the train station you will see the "Elisenhof" (a major commercial center/office complex). Please continue left around the building and use the main entrance to Elisenhof which is located in Elisenstrasse.

Tram
Trams 17, 18, 20 and 21 all go to Karlsplatz (Stachus) or to Hauptbahnhof. Diagonally opposite the main entrance to the train station you will see the "Elisenhof" (a major commercial center/office complex). Please continue left around the building and use the main entrance to Elisenhof which is located in Elisenstrasse.
